Spectratek Technologies has once again advanced the state of the art in embossing technologies in creating a light gauge film line that perfectly emulates the rich visual texture and substance of steel. SpectraSteel films are engineered for ease of use, visual texture, performance under inking, and durability, and are available in all of the same converted formats as our holographic film products. The sections below contain production, converting, and application information about our SpectraSteel film products. Keep in mind that Spectratek can recreate all of our SpectraSteel patterns to incorporate such things as eye-marks for die-cutting, other embedded 2 and 3-D holographic images, or holographic diffraction patterns where volumes warrant. Spectratek offers a full line of SpectraSteel pressure sensitive adhesive film product for label printing, stickers, and signage applications. We use only premium liners guaranteeing that the adhesion quality, coating integrity, and surface flatness of our PSA product are unmatched in the decorative film industry. Our stock PSA liner weights are 50 and 90Lbs, although the full gamut of weights, (20Lbs - 150Lbs), are available upon request. All of our roll format PSA films, regardless of liner weight, are available in 1 or 2 mil films with standard web widths of 24" and 39". The stock master roll lengths for 50Lb PSA lined film, (recommended for Flexo automatic labeling equipment), and 90Lb PSA lined films are 5,000' and 2,500', respectively. Lengths for other liner weights will vary.

Conversion to smaller roll lengths and widths is available per customer specifications. For 90Lb PSA lined films, or greater, sheeting is available. Spectratek has also made available a number of specialty adhesive products that include: PSA coated film with a clear PET liner, Nylon thermal adhesive coated film, and film laminated to static cling vinyl. Our line of SpectraSteel paper laminate can be used for any application that paper can. Uses for this line include, but are in no way limited to: gift-wrap, Christmas decorations, bags, tubes, label face stock, ribbons, bows, page decoration, response mailings, crafts, novelty enhancement, box and carton finish covering, wallpaper, and all types of print publishing.

This amazing paper/film product looks, feels, and tears like paper while retaining the forged look of steel. SpectraSteel film paper laminate is constructed by laminating embossed and metalized 48 gauge, (1/2mil), ultra-clear polyester film to premium quality paper substrate. Our paper laminate is available on 30, (prime label stock), 60, 70, 80, and 100 pound paper stock. SpectraSheen paper laminate rolls are available in a web width of 39.5". Master roll lengths for 30lb prime label stock and 70lb paper laminate are 6,500' and 3,500' respectively, although we will convert to longer or shorter lengths upon request. One mil paper laminate is available upon request.

Spectratek's SpectraSteel film to paperboard laminate is taking the packaging world by storm. It was in part to accommodate the soaring growth of this industry that Spectratek's recently began and completed stage one of its' production build out, more than tripling our capacity.

Only Spectratek's performance films can provide such dramatic effects. Our paperboard laminates are available with ½ mil film bonded to 10, 12, 18, and 24-point board; 8, 14, 16, and 20-point paperboard laminates are available on request. Spectratek will supply converted sheets to customer specifications, the maximum width being 39.5".
